| Roatan is visited mostly by scuba divers who know that the island's
coral reefs are some of the best anywhere. Roatan is also home to lush
tropical rainforest and flowers, beautiful golden beaches and colorful
parrots and macaws. Stilt cabins built over the water give the island an
exotic feel, and sunsets on the palm lined beaches are spectacular. Our
Roatan picture collection includes another kind of parrot, the parrotfish
which is abundant on the reefs, along with other rainbow hued tropical fish and
sea creatures such as angelfish and seahorses.
