| Auckland, on New Zealand's North
Island, has a very distinctly English feel. After a recommendation from an
airport employee, we rented a room at a beautiful Victorian bed and
breakfast in Herne Bay, a quaint little suburb of Auckland. From there we
explored the town with its colorful fruit and flower markets and sidewalk
cafes. Our picture collection includes images of the North island's rugged
coastline with long stretches of white and black sand beaches, tidal flats
and shore bird colonies, along with some Auckland cityscapes and charming
Victorian cottages.
