| We have include New Orleans in
our picture collection because it is a cruise ship port of call, and
because it is such a colorful and fun place. Along with its European
influence, the French Quarter brings to
mind some of the old Caribbean towns with its thick walls, hurricane shutters
and tropical courtyard gardens. Jackson Square is alive with artisans and fortune tellers, and the colorful window displays
with their mardi gras masks and voodoo dolls are a delight to the eyes. Of course, no visit to New Orleans would be
complete without sampling the music and food on Bourbon Street.
