June, 2005 - CDIslands® signs with CaribbeanStockPhotography.com: Located in Trinidad, West Indies, CaribbeanStockPhotography.com is a new stock photo agency created with the purpose of providing the international and regional image-buying market with the largest source of high-quality authentic Caribbean images by the regions most recognized photographers. It is an honor to be a part of such a quality service.

October, 2003 - CDIslands® Chosen by Exotic Destinations Tours for Photo Shoot in Antigua:  Exotic Destinations Tours, based in Antigua, West Indies, hired Pauline for a 5-day photo shoot on the island. The photos will be used to advertise their mini-boat tours to nearby Bird Island. Exotic Destinations Tours will be working with select cruise ship lines to provide passenger tours to this beautiful, unspoiled small island off the northeast coast of Antigua. In addition, the company will be providing land-based beach tours, as well as standard island tours. CDIslands® also provides stock photography to Exotic Destinations Tours partner company, Olde Towne Tours, based in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, where they offer similar packages. February, 2003 - CDIslands® Photos Chosen by National Ad Agency for Travel Advertising Campaign: Ogilvy and Mather, a major advertising agency recently licensed a number of images for use in the design of a travel catalogue for a Mexican airline company.  We are very excited about our first order from this prestigious company.

May, 2002 - CDIslands® Photos Published in May Issue of Oklahoma Magazine:  J. Thomas Golden, Managing Editor of Oklahoma Magazine contacted us in early April about using some of our images for their upcoming "best of the Caribbean" article.  Author Chuck Mai recommended CDIslands® as a "comprehensive resource for quality Caribbean photos".  We were very pleased that Oklahoma Magazine chose our images for the article, titled "Caribbean Cravings".  Oklahoma Magazine is published monthly by Schuman Publishing Company of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

May, 2002 - Redesigned CDIslands® Web Site Receives Golden Web Award:  CDIslands® has been chosen to receive The International Association of Web Masters and Designers Golden Web Award. The Award "is presented to those sites whose web design, originality and content have achieved levels of excellence deserving of recognition". The I.A.W.M.D. serves more than 215,000 members and affiliates in more than 145 countries worldwide, and include some of the world's largest and most respected companies: GE, Microsoft, Hertz, K-Mart, Amoco, Budget, FTD, Alamo, AOL, NBCi, American Greetings and a multiple of other name brand companies.  This award is a great honor for us. Other awards received for the new design include the Art Space 2000 World Web Award and the Nu-Horizons Design Studio Artistry Award.

May, 2002 - Cosmetic Vein Centers of Texas Chooses Aquatic Abstractions to Enhance Their Contemporary Interior.  On Thursday, May 9th, 2002, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held at the Cosmetic Vein Centers of Texas, 445 Bay Area Blvd., Houston, Texas, to celebrate their grand opening. The Clear Lake City Chamber of Commerce did the honors. The center is devoted to the cosmetic treatment of unsightly spider and varicose veins. Board-certified vascular surgeon Dr. Mark Skellenger has had more than twenty years of experience treating vascular diseases.  We are honored that Dr. Skellenger chose 19 Aquatic Abstractions prints ranging from 16"x20" to 20"x30" to decorate the new Center. August, 2001 -  Pauline Jacobson Chosen Rodale's ScubaDiving.com's Photographer of the Week:   RSD began the Photographer of the Week series in April of 1998.  We were very excited to hear that Pauline was chosen as number 63 in August of 2001. Considering the large number of submissions they receive, it is a great honor to be part of this group, which includes some very talented and well-respected photographers. We have also subscribed to their magazine for many years, and it is our favorite scuba diving magazine. (Note: Rodales sold the magazine. We don't know who the new owner is).
